Today was a do-over to my start by adding ten dollars to my bankroll. I got knocked out of the $2.50 tournament early before getting any bounties. Using my balance in a $0.05/$0.10 ($0.05) cash game. I managed to regain my original buy-in plus an extra $4.52. I decided to re-buy late ( level 7) into the tournament but got knocked out by a flopped set of sevens after hitting two paired over-cards on the turn. My desperate shove didn’t pay off as I’d hoped. Letting it slide.
I have to admit, it was tough not to jump back into a cash game but I resisted the temptation. After all, chasing losses can put one in a wretched mindset. And it sucks because it ain’t sunny today and I sure as hell don’t feel like doing any housework.
I’ll take the 20% increase to my bankroll as a win.
