I just popped on to play my daily freebie—an easy four bucks straight into my bankroll. Since I have plans later, starting a tournament today didn’t make much sense, so class begins tomorrow.
Day seven is the new day one (but I’m still calling it “Day 7”).
I see paying for lessons as an expense, and therefore, I don’t consider this tournaments as coming out of my bankroll. However any winnings from my “poker lessons” become my bankroll as a reward for being a good student. I can’t touch this or “freebie” winnings until “schools out” after 20 tournaments.
For me, the fun is in discovering a unique way to become a better poker player. Right now, I’m creating a controlled environment as much as possible. Not everyone has fun the same way, but as many people know, I’m a bit odd.
Remember: Play nice and have fun.

Day 7.5 | Semester 1, Class 1 | Bankroll $4.50
I got home early and took a shot at a class with a less than serious attitude. Not good. I also learned that I need to slow down and be more observant of things that are right in front of me. I ended up calling a value bets that I shouldn’t have, and shoving in dangerous positions. At least I picked up one bounty. I think I play better in the morning.
