So, last night, before hitting the hay, I played a few “spin and gold” three-handed. I managed to add a few dollars to my bankroll. It was just after midnight, so I checked to see what freebies were in my account. I was happy to see a dollar and a half worth of tickets, 15,000 chips for the #ThanksHoldemPlayers all-in tournament, and a snowball! I imagine it’s to add to the smoke/water option at the tables.
Well, this morning was a bust. I played my freebie Battle Royale tickets and had bad beats in both of them.
I need to be careful in going between different types of games. The strategy for spin and gold vs a $2.50 knockout is somewhat different. I ended up getting knocked out twice in a regular bounty tournament. And I’m kicking myself for the late-stage rebuy.
I decided to shake off the losses and take my old standby class, the Mini Big Game, but with no success.
In a last-ditch effort, I played a cash game for $1.85 hoping to claw back today’s buy-ins.
Even that was a bust.
I guess that’s what I get for gambling on Sunday.
