Read Free Money
It’s freeing to be playing “in the black”. I believe that, at this point in my entire life, I’m ahead by a couple of thousand dollars. It’s a good feeling to have.
I just finished playing an online tournament. I don’t know if it’s the new website I’m on or if I’m getting better. But I did quite well. I realized that, although there was a cost to enter, I wasn’t paying for it. The villains I’ve beaten are paying for it. It becomes a closed system once I close the door on paying money to play. A virtual economic ecosystem in which money has no value other than to trade poker chips. And now the game has become truly a game for me. Greed no longer plays a part in my game, a distraction I can now live without.
A comfortable surplus. That’s all I want, no more, no less.
