I managed to eke out another win live on Friday, giving me another five days of free-rolls. I have stuff to do on Tuesday and Wednesday, so either I roll it into next week or dare to play a bigger tournament on the weekend. Tough call. I think I’ll wait until Friday to decide. If I pick up another win, it’s a no-brainer.
I have to say that I like playing on WPT Global. The action and the players are a lot closer to live action than any poker site I’ve played on. I’ve decided to forgo the other sites. As you can see, I snagged another ticket in this week’s $100K Golden Bounty. Unfortunately, I was eliminated fairly early. Having picked up almost $100 in bounties in round one, put a large bounty on my head in the second round. That played with my head, and I made a few bad mistakes. Although I still finished in the black, I wasn’t as deep as the last time.
Occasionally, I was lured into three-handed rush games during the breaks, but for the most part, I was disciplined enough to stay away from these types of games.
Oh, by the way, I was totally decimated in $88 satellite for the $1,100 Starlight tournament. Doing that again can wait.
