So that’s it for my little experiment. Admittedly it wasn’t very scientific. However, on the plus side, it kept me critically aware of my bankroll as I went along. Gratefully, I ended up with $30.50 in the black.
Moving forward, with the daily giveaways, there’s enough to keep me going over the holidays, and I’m hoping my bankroll will grow without me adding any funds of my own.
For the cash drops (I got CAD 2.10 today) I plan on playing penny cash games to eventually buy into a nickel/dime game and then quitting when I’ve tripled my cash drop. Today I didn’t fare so well, but it was free money and I was playing pretty loose.
I imagine the free rolls will be a bit of a clusterf#, but like Gretzky said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
To keep myself accountable, I’ll post a screenshot of my bankroll daily. This will force me to account for all of my transactions and keep me from randomly playing without real purpose.
